Story Documents 1 Updates1

I remember the day I found out I was going to be a mother. I prayed for this moment, for the joy of holding my child in my arms, and when Gagan was born, I couldn’t have been happier. He was everything I had hoped for — a little bundle of energy, always smiling, always laughing. His joy was contagious, and wherever he went, the room seemed brighter, full of life.

But then, everything changed.

It started with something small — Gagan wasn’t feeling well. He complained of stomach pain, and we thought it was nothing. But soon, it became clear that something was terribly wrong. When the doctors told us it was cancer, I didn’t know how to breathe. How could this be happening? My little boy, just four years old, battling an illness no child should ever face. I felt like my whole world was crashing down.

For the past four years, I’ve done nothing but fight for Gagan’s health. My husband, Suresh, and I work as much as we can — he drives an auto and works at a petrol pump. But no matter how hard we worked, no matter how much we tried to save, it was never enough. We sold our land. We sold our house. And still, the bills kept coming. The chemotherapy. The tests. The medications.

Every day, I watch my son go through something no child should ever have to endure. He’s only four, yet he’s in pain every day, getting injections in every part of his little body. I can’t bear to see him like this. Gagan should be running around, playing with his friends, learning to read and write. But instead, he’s fighting for his life, and I can do nothing but watch.

Some days, it feels like the world has forgotten us. We’ve spent everything. There’s nothing left.

I’ve done everything I can for my son, but now I’m asking for help. I’m asking for others to do what I cannot. Gagan is my everything, and I just want him to have a future. A future where he can go to school, where he can play, where he can grow up happy and healthy. Please, I beg you, help save my son. No child should have to go through this, and no mother should have to watch her child suffer like this.

I know you also have children, and I know you can feel my pain. Please, I need your help. My son needs your help. Without it, I don’t know how much longer he can fight. But if you help us, you can give him the chance to survive. You can give him the chance for a future — a future free of cancer, a future full of life.

Please, help us. For Gagan. For all of us.
