My name is Praveen Kumar. My wife, Sukanya, is just 32 years old, a homemaker, a loving mother to our two little girls, and the heart of our home. Two years ago, our lives changed when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2024. We held on to hope, trusted the treatment, and tried to stay strong for our daughters.

But in September 2025, we were shattered again when we learned the cancer had spread to her lungs. Nothing prepares you for watching the person you love fight for every breath. Our girls are too young to understand why their mother feels tired all the time, they just know they want her beside them.

She has now started chemotherapy for lung cancer. Her first session of ENHERTU was completed on February 6th, and the second is scheduled for February 27th. The doctors say she may need to continue this treatment for a year, depending on how her body responds.

Last week, I had to rush her to the emergency room because of an unbearable headache, the side effects of ongoing treatment came suddenly and without warning. Every hospital visit shakes me, but she still tries to smile for us. All we dream of now is a simple, happy life together, watching our daughters grow up with their mother by their side, celebrating small moments, and living without fear. That is all we are holding on to.

ఆమె ఇప్పుడు ఊపిరితిత్తుల క్యాన్సర్‌కు కీమోథెరపీని ప్రారంభించింది. ఆమె ENHERTU యొక్క మొదటి సెషన్ ఫిబ్రవరి 6న పూర్తయింది మరియు రెండవది ఫిబ్రవరి 27న జరగనుంది. ఆమె శరీరం ఎలా స్పందిస్తుందనే దానిపై ఆధారపడి, ఆమె ఈ చికిత్సను ఒక సంవత్సరం పాటు కొనసాగించాల్సి రావచ్చని వైద్యులు చెబుతున్నారు.
