My name is Sumeet Goyal, and I am raising funds for my sister-in-law, Purnima Patel, who is currently battling a severe and complicated case of Tuberculosis (TB).
Tuberculosis is a dangerous and contagious infection that mainly affects the lungs, but in Purnima's case, it has become much more serious. Her platelet count dropped drastically, and doctors have now confirmed that both her liver and lungs are not functioning properly. She is extremely weak, struggling to breathe at times, and her condition is getting worse without immediate and continuous treatment.
Over the past few weeks, we have done everything possible to support her. We have already spent around ₹50,000 on hospital visits, lab tests, scans, and medications. But this is just the beginning of a long and difficult treatment journey. Her doctors have recommended an intensive care plan including advanced medications, prolonged hospital stay, nutritional support, and organ-specific treatments. The estimated cost for the full treatment is about ₹5,00,000, an amount that is far beyond our financial capacity.
Purnima is young and full of life, but this illness has taken a huge toll on her body. We are doing everything we can — emotionally and financially — but we are reaching the limits of what we can manage on our own.

पिछले कुछ हफ्तों में हमने जो कुछ भी कर सकते थे, सब कुछ किया है। अब तक हमने लगभग ₹50,000 उनकी अस्पताल की जांच, दवाएं और स्कैन पर खर्च किए हैं। लेकिन यह तो सिर्फ शुरुआत है। डॉक्टरों ने उनके लिए एक लंबे और गहन इलाज की योजना बनाई है, जिसमें उन्नत दवाएं, लम्बा अस्पताल में रहना, पोषण संबंधी देखभाल और अंग विशेष का इलाज शामिल है। इस इलाज का कुल खर्च लगभग ₹5,00,000 होगा, जो हमारी आर्थिक स्थिति से कहीं अधिक है।
पूनम अभी भी युवा हैं और ज़िंदगी से भरी हुई हैं, लेकिन यह बीमारी उनके शरीर पर भारी असर डाल रही है। हम हर तरह से – मानसिक रूप से और आर्थिक रूप से – प्रयास कर रहे हैं, लेकिन अब हम अपनी सीमा पर पहुँच चुके हैं।
