Until a few months ago, my little Aryash was just like any other 5-year-old. Running through the house, asking endless questions and telling us that one day he would become a superhero who would save thousands of lives.
But in November 2025, our lives changed forever.
A biopsy confirmed every parent’s worst nightmare, my son Aryash had Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG), a rare and aggressive brain tumor.
I still remember staring at the doctors, unable to process those words. “How could a disease so cruel choose someone so small?” I thought to myself.
Aryash does not fully understand what is happening. He still smiles. He still plays. He still dreams of going to school. He still tells us he is strong enough to fight any monster.
But as his father, I know the real monster we are fighting.
Aryash urgently needs continued targeted therapy and immunotherapy for the next 10 months. The treatment could save his life, but it comes with a cost in crores, far beyond what I can manage alone.
To save him, we sold our apartment. We emptied our savings. We sold our shares, mutual funds, everything we had built over years. So far, we have spent ₹98 lakhs.
And now, despite giving everything, it is still not enough. Every day I look at my son and wonder how to save him. He dreams of becoming a superhero.
Today, I am praying for heroes to save him. Please stand with my little boy. Please help me bring my son back to school, back to laughter and a life he deserves to live.
