With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of Amit Grover, who passed away on August 12, 2024, in Prague. Amit was a loving husband, father, son, and friend. An alumnus of MHS Kanpur, IIT Delhi, and IIM Indore, he was an entrepreneur and mentor, deeply committed to supporting the startup ecosystem by going out of his way to help budding entrepreneurs. Amit was a remarkable human being, always ready to help, smiling, and spreading positivity wherever he went.
Throughout his career, spanning Infosys, Asian Paints, Mumbai Angels, Onida, and his entrepreneurial ventures NurtureTalent and AhaTaxis, Amit made a lasting impact on many lives. At the time of his untimely passing, he was working for a stealth gaming company in Prague. Amit’s ever-smiling face and nurturing spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Amit had dreams of traveling the world, which he unfortunately could not fulfill. He was dedicated to ensuring his son, Ashwin, received the best education possible. His parents, who come from a humble background, were also dependent on him.
He is survived by his wife, Sona, and their son, Ashwin, a 9th grader who shares Amit’s passion for cricket, science, and engineering.
This fundraiser honors Amit’s memory and aims to support his family during this difficult time, focusing on Ashwin’s education and the family’s needs. Every contribution will provide essential support and help them navigate this challenging period.
