 Ration & PPE kits for Senior Citizens - 25 Kits - INR 1560/kit

Although many urban-poor senior citizens live in joint families, they are not bound to be taken care of by them. In most cases, they are forced to work to justify their position in their households and are often placed at the least priority. These vulnerabilities of the elderly have been worsened in the face of the COVID pandemic, with loss of daily-wage jobs and their susceptibility to infection. Also, many senior citizens, especially migrants, cannot avail Govt. relief packages as they lack documents like ration card. Dignity Foundation plans to distribute Ration and PPE Kits to senior citizens across 6 key cities. Each kit costing ? 1560, includes monthly dry ration and PPE for one senior citizen.
