At just five months old, the youngest daughter of Nirjala is battling a rare and painful condition called acrodermatitis enteropathica, diagnosed when she was just 1.5 months old. 

The condition began with an infection in the perianal region and has since spread, causing her fragile skin to rupture in multiple areas. For such a tiny child, this has been an incredibly difficult journey, filled with discomfort and uncertainty.

Her doctors at the Suretech Hospital have recommended urgent surgical intervention to address the skin ruptures. The procedure will involve multiple dressings, specialized medication, and post-operative care in the ICU. Without this treatment, her condition could worsen, putting her well-being and future at risk.

The baby’s family is struggling to cope with the emotional and financial burden of her treatment. Her father works as a daily wage labourer, earning a very modest income, while her mother stays home to care for the family, which includes an elder sister and a loving grandfather. Despite their best efforts, her parents cannot afford the high cost of the surgery and continued medical care.

This little girl deserves a chance to grow up healthy and happy, free from the pain she is enduring now. Your kindness can bring her that hope. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go toward her treatment and recovery, allowing her to live a full, vibrant life with her family.

  1. Billana Roshini is suffering from Sickle cell disease and needs an urgent bone marrow transplant worth ₹25 lakhs. 

At just one-month-old, Roshini’s health struggles began. Diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease, she endures painful blood transfusions every month, but her condition worsens. Doctors recommend a bone marrow transplant, and her 11-year-old brother is a match. However, the cost is beyond her family’s reach. Her father, a daily wage farmer, and her mother have exhausted their savings. Every night, Roshini’s mother holds her as she cries in pain, longing for a cure. Your support can give Roshini a future free from suffering. Will you be the miracle her family is praying for?

  1. Aradhita is fighting SMA (Type 2) and needs prolonged medicine which costs ₹5 crores. 

Aradhita, 26, battles Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type II, leaving her paralyzed and dependent on her parents. Her family seeks ₹5 crores for Risdiplam treatment. Despite her artistic passion, Aradhita struggles with basic tasks. She dreams of independence but feels like a burden. Her parents, despite their love and reassurance, are helpless. Aradhita's story is a plea for help, a chance at a normal life.

The goal amount of the campaign may be higher than the attached estimates to address and aid the post-hospitalization expenses/contingencies including but not limited to prolonged medication, diagnostics, rehabilitation therapies, and follow-up doctor visits/consultations which vary from disease to disease.
This campaign for a single patient can be converted into a multi-patient campaign, subject to the performance of this campaign. Once the funding requirement of a specific patient is met, multiple other beneficiaries can be helped through Impact Guru.

TREATMENT COST ESTIMATES
Impact Guru has no control over the cost estimates provided by hospitals / clinics / pharmaceutical companies etc. The cost estimates vary depending on the city and / or hospital where the patient is under treatment, professional fees of the treating doctors, drugs / medicines / therapies chosen for treatment by patient or patient’s family at their own discretion including but not limited to unique medical conditions / circumstances pertaining to each patient.
UTILIZATION OF FUNDS
In the rare scenario of surplus funds remaining within the fundraising campaign due to any of the following circumstances:
i) Completion of the Patient's treatment; ii) Receipt of requisite funding for the Patient from alternative sources; iii) Eligibility of the Patient for free treatment under any scheme or the receipt of free treatment by other means; iv) Demise of the Patient; v) Fulfilment of the fundraising campaign's objectives; vi) Termination of the fundraising campaign for any reason; vii) Reduction in the cost of the treatment
Impact Guru shall have the discretion that such surplus funds still left i) can be allocated to assist other patients on Impact Guru in their life-saving treatment, with the objective of maximizing social impact; ii) donors of the fundraising campaign at the sole discretion of Impact Guru may be offered the option to claim a pro-rata refund of surplus funds.
If the campaign is part of multi patient campaign model (“MPC”), the raised funds shall be primarily used for the first beneficiary of the said campaign, only thereafter, remaining remaining funds, if any, shall be used for the other patients under MPC.
PATIENT DEATH UPDATE
Upon the death of the patient, the Campaigner / close relative / POC on behalf of the patient shall be duty bound to inform Impact Guru immediately within two (2) hours of such occurrence and turn off the donations tab (through the internal access granted) on the campaign on Impact Guru Platform in order to stop fundraising on the campaign. In the event Campaigner or authorised/designated POC on behalf of the patient fails to do so and campaign continues raising funds due to such non-information/non action, the Campaigner or authorised/designated POC on behalf of the patient shall be personally liable any consequences thereof; further, Impact Guru shall be disclaimed of all the liabilities occurring with respect to such post death fundraising and the such liability in entirety shall accrue on Campaigner or authorised/designated POC on behalf of the patient. In the event of death of the patient, Impact Guru’s Patient Death Policy at Terms Of Use shall apply.

If you don’t acknowledge your donation, it will appear on the donor list as "Impact Guru donor." You will also have to acknowledge your donation for us to be able to generate your tax benefit certificate.

Is my donation amount publicly displayed?

Yes. You will find it under the "All Donations" tab on the fundraiser. If you would like to donate anonymously, please check the option while putting in your personal details. Your donation will still appear as "Impact Guru Donor."

If you’ve donated through PayTM, UPI or bank transfer options, please ensure you have acknowledged your donation on https://www.impactguru.com/payments to be able to find your name on the donor list.

I don’t live in India. Can I still donate on Impact Guru?

Yes, you can! You can donate through any International credit/debit card or make a wire transfer from anywhere in the world. However, you’ll have to use one of the accepted currencies to make your donation. These include: INR, USD, AED, GBP, SGD, HKD, AUD, CAD and Euro.

How do I know if a fundraiser offers tax benefits?

Whose account will the funds be transferred to?
