Our Struggle: A Father's Plea to Save His Newborn Son.

My name is Sai K, and I’m humbly reaching out to seek your support for my newborn premature baby boy, who is bravely fighting for his life in the NICU at Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital, Chennai.

My son was born prematurely on 4th July 2025, and soon after birth, he faced severe health complications due to prematurity. Doctors immediately recommended intensive NICU care, which is vital to help him survive and grow stronger day by day.

So far, we’ve spent over Rs. 7,00,000 to keep our baby under the necessary medical care. But his recovery journey is still ongoing, and the hospital has estimated that an additional Rs. 7,00,000 will be required to continue his treatment.

As a Junior Assistant in a government autonomous body, I earn a modest monthly salary of ₹35,000, and I am the only earning member in our small family. My wife is a homemaker, and we’re doing everything in our power to save our baby. To manage the initial expenses, I have already taken a gold loan of ₹3.5 lakhs and a personal loan of ₹2 lakhs. But now, we’ve reached a point where we are financially and emotionally exhausted.
