On the evening of 9th April, Ayush left home with his mother. He came back alone. Ayush Hande is 10 years old. He is a child who has already known more loss than most adults ever will. During COVID, he lost his father. On the evening of 9th April 2026, he lost his mother too.

Ayush was returning home with his mother and sister when a speeding bike hit their scooter. The impact was devastating. His mother passed away at the spot. His sister was rushed to the ICU and has since been shifted to the general ward. Ayush was the most critically injured. He was taken to Bharati Hospital where doctors performed emergency brain surgery on 10th April 2026 to address the traumatic injury and bleeding in his brain.

He is currently in the PICU, on ventilator support. He has not opened his eyes since the night of the accident. There is no father to sit beside him. There is no mother to hold his hand.

His uncle, a retired army personnel now working at a school, is the one who has taken on everything. He rushed to the hospital, arranged funds through his savings, his pension, and a loan from his workplace. He has already spent close to Rs 2.5 lakhs. He is doing everything a parent would do, for a child who has no parents left. The road ahead is uncertain. Doctors are waiting for Ayush to regain consciousness before deciding the next steps. What is certain is that the bills will keep coming and this family has already given everything they have.

Ayush is 10 years old. He deserves the chance to open his eyes and begin again. Please help make sure he gets that chance.

Your Donation Is Helping Not 1 But 3 People!

Your donation towards this fundraiser is not only helping Ayush Hande recover from Traumatic Brain Injury, but is also helping two more patients in need:

  1. Baby of Dudekula Mabunni has been diagnosed with a severe form of pneumonia, and needs NICU stay costing lakhs.

A newborn baby boy of Dudekula is fighting for his life in NICU after swallowing amniotic fluid at birth, causing a severe lung infection. His parents never got to hold him. Treatment costs lakhs and this family struggles to afford it. They have already borrowed lakhs, sold their house, and have nothing left. They urgently need your help to save their newborn son.

  1. Hiranya, who has been diagnosed with neuromuscular scoliosis along with SMA Type 2, needs scoliosis correction.

Hiranya, 14, has neuromuscular scoliosis and SMA Type 2, leaving her unable to walk. Without urgent spinal correction surgery, her breathing and mobility can worsen. She also manages diabetes and studies 9th standard from home despite it all. Her father passed away thirteen years ago, leaving her mother to raise the family alone, their savings exhausted. This family urgently needs the set of lakhs to give this brave young girl a chance at life.

Your donation towards this fundraiser will support both their treatments.

This campaign for a single patient can be converted into a multi-patient campaign, subject to the performance of this campaign. Once the funding requirement of a specific patient is met, multiple other beneficiaries can be helped through Impact Guru.

Dear Donors,

Ayush Hande has now been discharged from the hospital and is back home. However, an important surgery is still pending as part of his treatment journey. Doctors have informed the family that a future surgery will be planned to reattach the skull bone that was previously removed during treatment. Until then, Ayush will continue with regular follow-up consultations and medical monitoring to track his recovery and overall condition. During this crucial phase of recovery, we humbly request your continued prayers and good wishes for Ayush’s health and well-being. Your support and encouragement provide strength and hope to him and his family as they prepare for the next stage of treatment.

Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and prayers.

You need not wait for donor or have the organ ready. We actually suggest you start a fundraiser as soon as you can so that you are ready with the acquired funds and can get the surgery done immediately when you do receive an organ.

How can I track the impact of my donation?

Generally, most campaigners are reminded to leave updates on their fundraiser regarding the progress of their cause, whether it’s a nonprofit project or the health of a patient. You will get an email every time an update is posted. Alternately, you can use the "Contact campaigner" option on the fundraiser page to directly get in touch with the campaigner and understand how your donation benefited them.

Once the requirement of this patient will be met, any remaining funds will ultimately go towards helping other needy patients in line with Impact Guru's mission of helping save as many lives as possible.

Whose account will the funds be transferred to?

For all medical fundraisers, the funds will be directly transferred to the hospital’s account. Only in a few cases, based on Impact Guru’s discretion, the funds might be transferred to the campaigner or the patient’s account for postoperative or at home expenses.

In cases, where the funding requirement of the patient changes due to factors such as death, change of treatment plan on advice of hospital, delay in treatment, medical complications, Impact Guru utilizes the funds to help similar patients with the mission of helping save as many lives as possible.

Does Impact Guru help in promoting campaigns?

90%+ of Impact Guru’s campaigns raise funds leveraging our do-it-yourself fundraising platform.

The Accelerate initiative of Impact Guru caters primarily towards those individuals who are unable to create or manage their own fundraiser due to lack of education, access to smartphones, or social networks for fundraising support.
