He said goodbye with a smile on his face. Never in our imagination did we know that the next time we would see him fighting for his life in the hospital.
My name is Shreya Sinha. My brother Aviral Sinha met with a severe accident while he was returning home from the office in Bengaluru. Aviral was on a bike and was hit by a bus. The impact was so severe that the entire right side of his body was badly damaged, with multiple fractures, a head injury, and internal injuries. He is currently in the ICU, critical, and dependent on life-supporting treatment, with doctors insisting on urgent, staged surgeries to give him a chance at survival.
Aviral is just 26. He had only recently started his career and was the primary earning member of our small family, working hard to support our parents and help fulfil their long-pending dreams. Our father is a retired bank employee, and our mother is a homemaker; they depended emotionally and financially on him and were proud to see him build a stable life. Now, instead of planning his future, we are praying every hour for his recovery.
The doctors have explained that the road to recovery will be long and extremely expensive, involving multiple surgeries, prolonged ICU stay, costly medicines, and intensive rehabilitation, with total expenses running into many lakhs.
Aviral already underwent major surgeries, including one femur bone surgery.
Currently, doctors are slowly trying to reduce the dependence on ventilator support.
As a family, we have already spent many lakhs from our savings and by borrowing from friends and relatives. However, we still need your support to complete the upcoming critical procedures.
As Aviral’s sister, it is heartbreaking to watch my young brother lie on a hospital bed, fighting for every breath, when just days ago he was full of energy, hope, and dreams. He has always put the family first, working late, taking responsibility, and assuring our parents that he would take care of them. Today, he needs all of us to stand by him. Please help my brother recover and return home.
The funds raised through this campaign will be used for:

- ICU charges, hospital stay, and nursing care
- Medicines, diagnostics, and post-operative care
- Initial physiotherapy and rehabilitation support
