“Ma, why is this happening to me?”
That’s the question 13-year-old Arghya asks every day—his eyes filled with tears, his neck swollen with a growing tumour, and his heart full of fear. His mother has no answer. All she can do is hold him close and cry with him.
A year ago, Arghya’s parents noticed a small lump on his neck. They never imagined it would turn into something this serious. But today, their son has been diagnosed with Classical Hodgkin’s Lymphoma—a dangerous form of cancer. The tumour is growing fast, and Arghya is in constant pain.
Doctors at the Narayana Health Hospital have told the family that urgent chemotherapy and immunotherapy are the only ways to stop the cancer from spreading.
But not a single session has been started yet—because his parents simply can’t afford it.
Arghya is currently admitted to the hospital, waiting for treatment to begin. Every moment of delay could bring him closer to danger. His father, a poor farmer who earns just ₹300 a day, is doing everything he can—but it’s not enough. His mother, a housewife, sits by his bedside, trying to stay strong.
He is just a child in 7th standard. He should be playing, studying, and dreaming. But instead, he’s fighting for his life.
This family is not asking for much—just a chance to save their son.
You can be the reason Arghya survives. Your one donation can give this young boy a future free of pain and fear.
Please donate now and help save Arghya’s life. Every share and contribution counts!

Dear Donors,
Arghya Roy recently visited the hospital for his scheduled chemotherapy, which was successfully completed. He is currently staying at home and continues to visit the hospital for regular follow-ups and chemotherapy sessions. While his condition is somewhat stable at present, he still requires ongoing treatment and medical care. He is also on medication to prevent side effects and infections.
Your continued support and heartfelt prayers are essential in helping Arghya receive the care he urgently needs.

Generally, most campaigners are reminded to leave updates on their fundraiser regarding the progress of their cause, whether it’s a nonprofit project or the health of a patient. You will get an email every time an update is posted. Alternately, you can use the "Contact campaigner" option on the fundraiser page to directly get in touch with the campaigner and understand how your donation benefited them.
Once the requirement of this patient will be met, any remaining funds will ultimately go towards helping other needy patients in line with Impact Guru's mission of helping save as many lives as possible.
For all medical fundraisers, the funds will be directly transferred to the hospital’s account. Only in a few cases, based on Impact Guru’s discretion, the funds might be transferred to the campaigner or the patient’s account for postoperative or at home expenses.
In cases, where the funding requirement of the patient changes due to factors such as death, change of treatment plan on advice of hospital, delay in treatment, medical complications, Impact Guru utilizes the funds to help similar patients with the mission of helping save as many lives as possible.
90%+ of Impact Guru’s campaigns raise funds leveraging our do-it-yourself fundraising platform.
The Accelerate initiative of Impact Guru caters primarily towards those individuals who are unable to create or manage their own fundraiser due to lack of education, access to smartphones, or social networks for fundraising support.
