Aarohi was born on November 14, 2024, and the moment I saw her tiny face, my heart filled with love and joy. But that joy quickly turned to fear when the doctors told us that something was wrong. My sweet little girl was diagnosed with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. They explained that her spine had a defect, and there was fluid building up in her brain, causing pressure. I didn’t understand everything they said, but I understood that my baby was suffering, and I felt so helpless.

Aarohi is only two months old, and she’s already in so much pain. Every day is a struggle for her. She can’t move like other babies, and she cries because she’s uncomfortable. I can see the pain in her eyes, and it breaks my heart. I just want to take it all away. The doctors have told us she needs surgery to fix her spine and put in a shunt to relieve the pressure on her brain. If she doesn’t get these treatments soon, her condition could get worse. I’m so scared about what might happen if we can’t find the money for her treatment.

My husband works as a daily wage laborer. His income is barely enough to cover our everyday needs, and I am a stay-at-home mom. We have a 9-year-old son who we also care for. Our financial situation is difficult, and now we’re faced with a huge amount—₹5,16,500—for Aarohi’s treatment. The doctors have made it clear that we can’t wait. Time is running out, and I’m not sure how we’re going to make this work.

We have received some help from the Chief Minister’s fund—around ₹80,000 to ₹85,000—but it’s still not enough. Every day I worry about how we will manage. I’ve lost sleep over this, thinking about how much pain Aarohi is in and how helpless I feel. I just want to see her healthy, to see her grow and laugh like any other child. But right now, all I can do is pray for a miracle.

I’m reaching out to anyone who can help. Even the smallest donation will bring us closer to the treatment Aarohi desperately needs. I don’t want to lose her. She’s my world, and all I want is to give her a chance at a healthy, happy life.

Please, if you can, help us. Aarohi deserves a future, and with your support, we can give her one.

How can I track the impact of my donation?

Generally, most campaigners are reminded to leave updates on their fundraiser regarding the progress of their cause, whether it’s a nonprofit project or the health of a patient. You will get an email every time an update is posted. Alternately, you can use the "Contact campaigner" option on the fundraiser page to directly get in touch with the campaigner and understand how your donation benefited them.

Once the requirement of this patient will be met, any remaining funds will ultimately go towards helping other needy patients in line with Impact Guru's mission of helping save as many lives as possible.
