The massively destructive cyclone Fani which struck Odisha has left thousands homeless, without food and water. The authorities have reported complete destruction of residential structures, including thatched huts, major damage to road network, collapse of infrastructure, loss of crops & livestock. The volunteers of Aahwahan Foundation have hit the grounds and taken it upon themselves to provide food and water to the disaster victims in this critical hour. The relief operations have been greatly beneficial to the millions displaced who have no access to clean food or water. Everyday around 500 or more number of people are being provided and served with cooked meals. The operation is also being scaled with donations pouring in with the provision of packed dry food along with cooked food and is making a larger and larger impact in providing relief and much needed nourishment to the devastated millions.
