Faraaz Khan passed away after 26 days in CCU at a Hospital in Bangalore. He was diagnosed with Brain Encephalitis (Brain Herpes) & Pneumonia.

Recalling his last moments, Faraaz opened up his eyes around 9 PM and glanced around at all his loved ones and went back to sleep, never to wake up again.

Faraaz responded to the treatment initially, however, due to low immunity, his condition deteriorated eventually.

His immunity was dangerously low in his last days. Understanding the seriousness of his condition, the doctors had to administer 11 bottles of immunoglobulin to boost his immunity. While that helped for a few days, his lung also developed pulmonary fibrosis. Faraaz could not recuperate from pneumonia and encephalitis.

Faraaz was lain to rest in Bangalore, in the same grave of his father, actor Late Mr Yusuf Khan aka Zebisko. May God bless his soul.
