What has happened to you?
“My one leg is around 10-15 kgs now. Doctors say that the abnormally tangled blood vessels have disrupted the normal blood flow and oxygen circulation. This massive malformation has also become my identity. The , which I want to leave behind,”

You want to talk more about yourself?
“I want to. But I don't know what part of me I should talk about. My present is filled with fear, anger, pain and hopelessness along with hope. I was only a few years old when my father passed away. I am 27 now and my aging mother has been my only support,”

What are your dreams or desires?
“I just want to feel comfortable in my own skin so that I can look up to life and start earning for my aging mother. I dreamt of joining the police but this giant leg has not stopped growing for years now. My surgery is expensive and I need help. Urgent help. I dream to live beyond this disease, that's all,”

What do you and your mother talk about?
“She is mostly quiet but every time I express my helplessness she makes sure that I feel hopeful, throughout. She consoles me and I really want to give all of this back to her. I want to look after her, I want to see her smile, laugh and feel alive,”

Your support can make a life-changing difference for Rakesh. We humbly request donors to come forward and help him continue his treatment and undergo the surgery he urgently needs. Any contribution, big or small, will bring hope to Rakesh and his family during this difficult time.
