An ‘abrupt derailment’ to countless smiles
All journeys must always have an ending, including life. But when that ending strikes us with ferocious abruptness, it generally results in unpleasant consequences. This is exactly what happened when the Indore Patna Express derailed on the forlorn Sunday morning of 20th November 2016 that killed 150 and injured more than 200. Imagine what it feels for a mother to lose her entire family? Imagine what it feels for a father to carry the dead body of her own daughter? Imagine the scenes, the cries, the pain, the shock. It is hard isn’t it?
The Victims need our support now
While there is very little we can do to reduce the emotional turmoil, we can certainly help the physical pain by supporting their treatment, medicines, food and also offer some monetary relief.
What can we do to help
The Government is doing their bit to help rehabilitate these grief stricken families but we, as individuals, must also come forward to offer relief. You can contribute to this crowdfunding campaign to rush in relief and resources for them. You can also spread the word through social media by hitting all the share options above amongst your friends, peers, colleagues, family and even strangers and let us all join our hands together to create that Tsunami of love and and peace for them.
In case, there is someone who's looking to get in touch with their loved ones:
