Hi my name is Samrat Ashok Undirwade, I'm from nagpur maharashtra. I'm running an NGO named Bhagyoday Bahu-uddeshiy Shikshan Sanstha. We have decided to start a "book bank" which will be naned as "PROJECT SUREKH" to help underprivileged students who can't afford books and stationary. In today's world education is very important to survive and education is getting more and more expensive day by day. Cut-throat competition and expensive education are not piece of cake for underprivileged students. There are a lot of people who can't afford education. Government schools and acts like right to education meant to give them an opportunity to educate, but when we look at the higher education most of the students drop out because they can't afford fees and books. There are libraries to help this people but still there are limitations of number of beneficiaries and there is no any external source to help them. Our target is to provide books and stationary to the needy underprivileged students who can't afford it. Underprivileged students can get books they need for free of cost and return them after their semester ends and then these books will be forwarded to the next batch. I've been myself in this kind of situation when i was unable to purchase books and my school helped me and while i was in HSC i had to persue without books. That's why i don't want others to suffer what I've faced.
