Many young children in high burden areas such as Bhiwandi are born with limited opportunities. Malnutrition jeopardizes their hope of building a better future by hampering their growth & development. Let's bring them the Khushi (smiles & happiness) they deserve. Let's bring them opportunities through adequate nutrition.
The Foundation for Mother and Child Health - FMCH is currently carrying out interventions on preventive social medicine and growth monitoring. Recognizing the need for nutrition, PROJECT KHUSHI was conceived with Association for Nutrition and Development Action - ANNADA to offer a holistic solution to address malnutrition in a sustainable manner.
The program intends provide nutrition in the form of Micronutrient Fortified meals to children below 6 years, pregnant women, and lactating mothers.
Malnutrition starts in the womb. Studies show that If a child becomes malnourished in the womb or before the age of two the damage can be irreparable therefore it is critical to invest early in a child's health.
