*Basic literacy & education is an essential tool for personal development of the children. Kanthi Samstha ensures that 100 children go to literacy and education center every day and improves the quality of education.
*Poverty is often accompanied by malnutrition and food insecurity. KS supports families with provision of food items for ensuring food for children. Through nutrition education, safe drinking water and health care helps parents, to plan better for their children. Inculcating natural food habits among tribal families is also one of the potential areas.
*Safe drinking water and hygienic sanitation are essential for the health and development of children engages to improve access to safe drinking water and improve hygiene.
100 Children in 3 tribal villages of Mangalagiri, Nachukunta Arthamuru & Sainagar Arthamuru will be benefitted by initiating ‘children Literacy and education centers in 3 villages’ for promoting literacy and education among Yanadi tribal children at their door-step/habitation and assist them with Nutritious food supplies. There is a greater need for upholding the dignity of the vulnerable children through child participation, Literacy, health care and education, nutritious food availability, conducive sanitation etc. These are all tools for empowering communities and their children to overcome from the clutches of poverty to look for better future.
These children are deprived of love and affection, education, food, health care, proper clothing and recreation etc. They live in thatched huts. their culture, attitudes, behaviours are different from others and Their life styles are more pathetic and accustomed with minimum income and meager facilities. They are the silent sufferers due to their ignorance and 80% illiteracy. They are the most poor and deserving populace to be helped and continue our efforts for their betterment.
