I am a weekend farmer with a property just outside Bangalore. It is surrounded by forests with a healthy wildlife population.
We have faced drought for the last two years and it has forced the animals to raid nearby farms for fodder and water due to which we have had a few man-animal conflicts and have unfortunately lost some animals too. This year our prayers were heard and the monsoon seems to be looking good. We have pledged to build a lake to conserve as much rain water as we can this monsoon.
We have identified a place on the property and have started the work with our own funds. It would cost us nearly 3 lakhs and we hope to garner your support to help complete this project.
