My mother's life has always been a story of strength, sacrifice, and resilience. At just 31 years old, she lost her husband and was suddenly left alone to raise her three young daughters. Despite facing immense financial and emotional hardships, she never gave up. She worked tirelessly, made countless sacrifices, and dedicated her life to ensuring that we received a good education, proper care, and a brighter future. She became both a mother and a father to us, always putting our needs before her own.
Today, the woman who spent her entire life caring for others needs our help.
After experiencing persistent health issues, my mother was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. Since then, she has undergone multiple medical consultations, tests, and treatments. Doctors have now advised immediate targeted therapy to help control the spread of the disease and improve her chances of recovery.
The prescribed targeted therapy is administered in the form of medication, with a pack of 10 tablets costing ₹1,17,000. Through AstraZeneca's Patient Assistance Program, patients receive an additional 20 tablets free with the purchase of every 10 tablets, helping to reduce the overall treatment burden.
However, even with this support, the cost of the medication, along with essential scans, diagnostic investigations, regular consultations, and other medical expenses, remains substantial. After evaluating the complete treatment plan, the treating doctor has estimated the total cost of treatment at approximately ₹15 lakh.
As her daughter, it is heartbreaking to watch her fight this battle after everything she has endured and overcome in life. She has spent years caring for her family with unwavering love and strength. Now it is our turn to stand beside her.

आज तीच स्त्री, जिने आपले संपूर्ण आयुष्य इतरांची काळजी घेण्यात घालवले, तिला आपल्या मदतीची गरज आहे.
काही काळापासून सुरू असलेल्या आरोग्याच्या तक्रारींनंतर माझ्या आईला फुफ्फुसाचा कर्करोग असल्याचे निदान झाले. त्यानंतर त्यांनी अनेक वैद्यकीय तपासण्या, सल्लामसलत आणि उपचार घेतले आहेत. आता डॉक्टरांनी रोगाचा प्रसार नियंत्रित करण्यासाठी आणि त्यांच्या बरे होण्याच्या शक्यता वाढवण्यासाठी तातडीने Targeted Therapy सुरू करण्याचा सल्ला दिला आहे.
ही Targeted Therapy औषधांच्या स्वरूपात दिली जाते. या औषधांच्या १० गोळ्यांच्या एका पॅकची किंमत ₹१,१७,००० आहे. औषधनिर्माता कंपनी AstraZeneca च्या Patient Assistance Program अंतर्गत, प्रत्येक १० गोळ्यांच्या खरेदीवर अतिरिक्त २० गोळ्या मोफत दिल्या जातात, ज्यामुळे उपचारांचा आर्थिक भार काही प्रमाणात कमी होण्यास मदत होते.

एक मुलगी म्हणून, माझ्या आईने आयुष्यभर केलेल्या संघर्षानंतर त्यांना अशा कठीण प्रसंगातून जाताना पाहणे अत्यंत वेदनादायक आहे. त्यांनी नेहमीच आपल्या कुटुंबासाठी प्रेमाने, जिद्दीने आणि समर्पणाने आयुष्य व्यतीत केले. आता त्यांच्या या लढाईत त्यांच्या पाठीशी उभे राहण्याची वेळ आमची आहे.
