What is essence of life? To serve others and do good.

We, at Sukarma Foundation, have continuously been committed to the welfare of down trodden and vulnerable and always get up to support them by distributing items of daily needs and hygiene to the neediest in cities, villages and towns of India.
In these times, when Covid-19 virus infection has tainted millions and took more than 40,000 lives world over, we endeavor to support the poor and the homeless, the poor travelers stranded in cities and towns, farmer families and neediest families who don’t have support or have enough to shop for food and items of hygiene to sustain themselves.
With a view that such needy persons and families stay healthy and sanitized, we’ve prepared an assemblage of food grains and basic spices, sanitizers, masks and cleansing agents. For a small family, a single assemblage keeps them going for seven days.
Ever since the lockdown, we have serviced over 50 such neediest families and have served in 5 districts so far. We’ll continue to serve to more than 100 villages even after the lock down is over or is extended.
With restricted movement due to the lockdown, we’ve chosen Sainkheda village in Madhya Pradesh to start out our journey of distribution of the assemblage. A dedicated team of volunteers is already in Sainkheda covering villages in 50 kms area within its periphery. The team is providing the following support in these villages:
- Feeding and distributing hygiene kit to poor labourers (Sanitary Napkin, Mask, Bath Soap, Detergent, Hand wash detergent)
- Distributing dry ration kits to most needy families living in villages during the lockdown.
Helping hand is not limited! It’s extended to old, sick, differently-abled and widows or any person considered needy by the volunteers.
Our Volunteers with the help of local village families and village heads identify the needy and deliver the weekly supply along with contact details of Distribution Center. The families are free to contact our volunteers for replenishing the supplies. For fair and uninterrupted distribution, the team has eight volunteers who visit the villages for identifying the recipients, two who take care of Distribution Center and two who manage logistics, social media and other office related work.
