Thank you for considering
the chance to make a difference!
A reminder will be sent to you for your urgent donation to Sreeja Mitra’s fundraiser.
We have a gift for your kindness!
I am writing to you with a heavy heart. My 6-year-old daughter, Sreeja, has always been full of life, lighting up every room she walked into. But today, she lies in the ICU at Apollo Hospital, fighting for her life.
On 28th October 2024, our world turned upside down. We were on our way to the hospital for my gallbladder check-up when a truck hit us. My little girl bore the brunt of the accident. Her lower body is completely fractured, and she has already undergone 13 operations. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, her condition remains critical. They have informed us that Sreeja will no longer be able to pass stool normally, which breaks my heart further as a mother.
Sreeja is still in the ICU, and the doctors have recommended a prolonged PICU stay to save her. Every passing day in the hospital feels like a mountain we cannot climb, both emotionally and financially. My husband drives an auto-rickshaw, earning barely Rs. 8,000 to 10,000 per month. I am a housewife, and we also have a son who is studying in college. We have exhausted all our savings on her surgeries and hospital bills.
Sreeja is just a child, a student who should be running around, playing, and enjoying life—not lying in a hospital bed. As her mother, I am pleading with you to help us save her.
Please support us in this fight for Sreeja’s life. No amount is too small. Your kindness will bring us one step closer to giving her a chance to live again.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
Dear Donors,
Sreeja Mitra has already undergone 22 surgeries and is now 31% handicapped. After her discharge in January 2025, she bravely faced four more operations. Yet, two critical surgeries are still pending. Currently, she is at home on medication and regularly visits the hospital for checkups. Her pain and struggle continue as she requires support to do a basic activity for herself.
Your heartfelt prayers and generous donations can make a world of difference to Sreeja and her family.
Dear Donors,
Sreeja is bravely continuing her recovery with regular wound dressing and ongoing medication. Her condition remains delicate, and doctors have planned another surgery for next month, which will be followed by additional procedures as part of a longer-term treatment plan.
Each step is critical to her healing, and your support is making it possible for her to continue receiving the care she needs. With multiple surgeries ahead, your continued generosity can ease the burden and bring hope to Sreeja and her family during this challenging time.
Dear Donors,
Sreeja underwent another surgery, adding to the series of multiple procedures she has bravely endured so far. Her strength and resilience through this difficult time have been truly inspiring.
While she continues to recover from the most recent operation, doctors have advised that two more surgeries will be required. These are planned to take place in about a month, depending on her recovery and overall condition.
Your continued support is a vital part of her healing process. With your help, we can ensure Sreeja receives the comprehensive care she needs to recover fully and regain her strength.
Dear Donors,
Sreeja is currently under treatment at Apollo Hospital. At present, she is at home, showing signs of improvement in her health. She is scheduled to be admitted on 14th April 2025 for her upcoming operation.
Your support has brought her this far, and we kindly seek your continued prayers and encouragement as she prepares for the next crucial step in her journey toward recovery.
Dear Donors,
Sreeja has shown great progress after her surgery and treatment at Apollo Hospital, but her medical journey is far from over. She still requires frequent check-ups, ongoing investigations, and multiple surgeries ahead to ensure a full recovery.
Her family is doing everything they can, but they need support to continue her treatment without delays. Your generosity can make a life-changing impact. Please consider contributing.
Dear Donors,
Sreeja Mitra is recovering, and medication is ongoing.
However, she still requires two more surgeries scheduled for next month.
Your help can ensure she gets the necessary medical care.
Dear Donors,
Sreeja Mitra is recovering steadily but still has a long way to go.
Nine surgeries have already been completed, with more needed to ensure her full recovery.
Your support can help her receive the critical surgeries and care she needs to regain her health.
Dear Donors,
Sreeja Mitra is currently recovering, and her treatment is ongoing.
So far, she has undergone 9 surgeries successfully.
However, her journey is not yet complete, as additional surgeries are still required to ensure her full recovery.
Your support can make a significant difference in helping her continue with these necessary procedures and regain her health.
Thank you for being a part of her healing process.
