Hi, My name is Soham Dutta and I am raising funds for my twin brother Shuvam Dutta. He needs your help. Shuvam is suffering from a very rare life threatening disease. We have already spent Rs 2500000 so far for Shuvam's treatment, only 5 lakhs was covered by insurance. He is currently admitted in St John’s Hospital and his treatment has been going on for 3 months now. Both our offices have been supportive, but now both of us are suffering from the loss of pay from the service.
Shuvam is showing signs of recovery now, any contribution that you can make will go a long way to help Shuvam get back on his feet and would protect his family from financial ruin.
Shuvam was initially suffering from random high grade fever. He was first admitted in Sakra World Hospital, Bangalore. Doctors ran many tests on him, nothing was conclusive. After 2 weeks, he was diagnosed with TB in the bone marrow. The TB spread through blood affecting different organs and his health deteriorated and he went into ventilation.
We then moved him to St John's Hospital, Bangalore. Overall he was in ventilation for close to 35 days. He was in ICU for more than 60 days. Many doctors and even AIIMS doctors came to check him up, they did many rounds of bone marrow testing, cancer testing but no conclusive evidence came out. Multiple complications then began coming in for Shuvam, his lungs, liver, kidney were all infected during this period. However, miraculously his condition is a little better now. He has now been moved to isolation chamber ward as chances of infection was very high in ICU.
We have a sister, she is married. Unfortunately, our parents passed away a few years back. We are unable to pay the required amount because we cannot afford this much huge amount anymore. I request you to kindly contribute towards the treatment and help during our time of need. Each contribution is important! Please help us raise the required amount by clicking on the donate button sharing this fundraiser with family and friends. We are grateful for your help and wishes.
