“I never thought a simple pain in my stomach would change my life forever.”

Sandip, a 33-year-old father of two, was living an ordinary life, working hard for his family. As the sole breadwinner, he carried the responsibility of ensuring his wife and children had everything they needed. Then, everything changed.
In early 2024, Sandip started experiencing extreme abdominal pain. A visit to the doctor revealed he had kidney stones. With medication, he started recovering—until fate dealt him another cruel blow.
On July 9, 2024, Sandip met with a terrible accident. He was hospitalised for three months. When he was finally discharged, walking felt like an impossible task. He hoped to regain his strength and return to work, but life had other plans.
Soon after returning home, Sandip was once again struck by unbearable pain.
This time, it was worse than before—urinating became difficult, and he could barely stand. When his family rushed him to the hospital, doctors delivered heartbreaking news: the kidney stones had returned, and surgery was the only option.

“I want to fight for my children, but without treatment, I don’t know how long I can go on,” Sandip says.
The surgery at Medicover Hospital, Pune, is crucial and expensive. With no other earning member in the family, Sandip’s loved ones are doing everything they can to raise funds.
