A Childhood Spent in Hospitals
Rocky was only two years old when his family first noticed something was wrong. What began as frequent fever, cold, cough, and weakness soon revealed a much more serious condition. After medical tests, doctors diagnosed him with Acute B Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a type of blood cancer. Since then, Rocky’s childhood has been spent visiting hospitals instead of playing like other children his age. Over the years, he has undergone multiple chemotherapy sessions and has already required five blood transfusions just to keep fighting the disease.
A Critical Situation Now
On 30th December 2025, Rocky underwent a PET scan, and the results brought devastating news to the family. Doctors warned that the cancer could return, and the only way to prevent it is through an urgent Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT). Rocky is currently admitted to the PICU, where doctors are closely monitoring his condition. The only hope for his survival is a Bone Marrow Transplant, and fortunately, his mother has been identified as a matching donor.
About the Family
Rocky lives with his parents and his 7-year-old brother, who is studying in the 2nd standard. His father works as a driver, earning about ₹30,000 per month, while his mother is a homemaker. The family has already spent most of their savings on chemotherapy sessions, hospital visits, and blood transfusions over the past three years. With the cost of a Bone Marrow Transplant, the expenses are far beyond what they can afford
