I am Rajveer’s mother, and my heart aches every time I look at my son. He was just seven when the accident happened—playing outside, laughing with his friends. But in one cruel moment, a live electric wire fell on him. His tiny hands, legs, and chest were burned badly. His cries still echo in my ears…


That day, my husband and I were at work. By the time we got back, Rajveer was already in unbearable pain. We rushed him to the hospital, but we didn’t have enough money for surgery. We have done everything we could—applying medicines, taking care of him day and night—but his wounds have not healed. His skin stretches and cracks with every movement. He can’t even sleep properly because of the pain.  

Rajveer was in 2nd standard when this happened. He loved school, but he hasn’t gone back since. His siblings go, but he just watches them leave every morning, his eyes filled with sadness. He asks me, “Maa, when will I go to school again?” And I have no answer… 


My husband is a daily wage laborer, earning just ₹350 a day. We can barely afford food, let alone an expensive surgery at Medista Hospital. But without surgery, my son will never heal. He may never walk or play like before.

  1. Shreya Roy is a 5 year old girl suffering from lumbar meningomyelocele with paraplegia and tethered cord, associated with Chiari malformation type II and needs multiple surgeries worth ₹10 lakhs

5-year-old Shreya has spent her life confined to a body that won’t let her walk, stand, or feel anything below her waist. Diagnosed with a spinal cord tumor, her childhood has been filled with challenges no child should endure. She dreams of running, playing, and going to school like other children, but her condition isolates her. Her parents left everything behind, hoping for treatment in Bangalore, but the cost is beyond their reach. Every passing day, Shreya’s pain worsens. With timely surgery, she can have a chance at a brighter future. She just needs a helping hand to get there.

  1. Aradhita is fighting SMA (Type 2) and needs prolonged medicine which costs ₹5 crores

Aradhita, 26, battles Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type II, leaving her paralyzed and dependent on her parents. Her family seeks ₹5 crores for Risdiplam treatment. Despite her artistic passion, Aradhita struggles with basic tasks. She dreams of independence but feels like a burden. Her parents, despite their love and reassurance, are helpless. Aradhita's story is a plea for help, a chance at a normal life.

Your donation towards this fundraiser will support both their treatments. 

The goal amount of the campaign may be higher than the attached estimates to address and aid the post-hospitalization expenses/contingencies including but not limited to prolonged medication, diagnostics, rehabilitation therapies, and follow-up doctor visits/consultations which vary from disease to disease.
This campaign for a single patient can be converted into a multi-patient campaign, subject to the performance of this campaign. Once the funding requirement of a specific patient is met, multiple other beneficiaries can be helped through Impact Guru.

TREATMENT COST ESTIMATES
Impact Guru has no control over the cost estimates provided by hospitals / clinics / pharmaceutical companies etc. The cost estimates vary depending on the city and / or hospital where the patient is under treatment, professional fees of the treating doctors, drugs / medicines / therapies chosen for treatment by patient or patient’s family at their own discretion including but not limited to unique medical conditions / circumstances pertaining to each patient.
UTILIZATION OF FUNDS
In the rare scenario of surplus funds remaining within the fundraising campaign due to any of the following circumstances:
i) Completion of the Patient's treatment; ii) Receipt of requisite funding for the Patient from alternative sources; iii) Eligibility of the Patient for free treatment under any scheme or the receipt of free treatment by other means; iv) Demise of the Patient; v) Fulfilment of the fundraising campaign's objectives; vi) Termination of the fundraising campaign for any reason; vii) Reduction in the cost of the treatment
Impact Guru shall have the discretion that such surplus funds still left i) can be allocated to assist other patients on Impact Guru in their life-saving treatment, with the objective of maximizing social impact; ii) donors of the fundraising campaign at the sole discretion of Impact Guru may be offered the option to claim a pro-rata refund of surplus funds.
If the campaign is part of multi patient campaign model (“MPC”), the raised funds shall be primarily used for the first beneficiary of the said campaign, only thereafter, remaining remaining funds, if any, shall be used for the other patients under MPC.
PATIENT DEATH UPDATE
Upon the death of the patient, the Campaigner / close relative / POC on behalf of the patient shall be duty bound to inform Impact Guru immediately within two (2) hours of such occurrence and turn off the donations tab (through the internal access granted) on the campaign on Impact Guru Platform in order to stop fundraising on the campaign. In the event Campaigner or authorised/designated POC on behalf of the patient fails to do so and campaign continues raising funds due to such non-information/non action, the Campaigner or authorised/designated POC on behalf of the patient shall be personally liable any consequences thereof; further, Impact Guru shall be disclaimed of all the liabilities occurring with respect to such post death fundraising and the such liability in entirety shall accrue on Campaigner or authorised/designated POC on behalf of the patient. In the event of death of the patient, Impact Guru’s Patient Death Policy at Terms Of Use shall apply.

Dear Donors,

Rajveer Damor is still in need of urgent medical attention and has not yet recovered. He has already undergone one surgery, but the treatment is far from over. The situation is especially heartbreaking his father, struggling to afford the rising medical expenses, has taken loans from multiple sources and is now unable to repay them.

Due to these financial burdens, he has had to live separately from his family.

If you have used bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS/RTGS), UPI or Paytm (using QR code) to make your donation, you will need to verify your donation to receive an acknowledgement of your donation and for your name to appear on the donor list. Here, choose your payment mode (Paytm or Bank transfer/UPI), enter your transaction reference number, donation amount and click on "Confirm".

If you don’t acknowledge your donation, it will appear on the donor list as "Impact Guru donor." You will also have to acknowledge your donation for us to be able to generate your tax benefit certificate.

Is my donation amount publicly displayed?

Yes. You will find it under the "All Donations" tab on the fundraiser. If you would like to donate anonymously, please check the option while putting in your personal details. Your donation will still appear as "Impact Guru Donor."

If you’ve donated through PayTM, UPI or bank transfer options, please ensure you have acknowledged your donation on https://www.impactguru.com/payments to be able to find your name on the donor list.

I don’t live in India. Can I still donate on Impact Guru?

Yes, you can! You can donate through any International credit/debit card or make a wire transfer from anywhere in the world. However, you’ll have to use one of the accepted currencies to make your donation. These include: INR, USD, AED, GBP, SGD, HKD, AUD, CAD and Euro.

My donation didn’t go through. What do I do?

How do I know if a fundraiser offers tax benefits?

For fundraisers that offer Indian, UK or USA tax benefits, it will display a note saying so.A fundraiser that offers tax benefits will display a sign under the image box which says, "Indian tax benefits apply."

How can I track the impact of my donation?

Generally, most campaigners are reminded to leave updates on their fundraiser regarding the progress of their cause, whether it’s a nonprofit project or the health of a patient. You will get an email every time an update is posted. Alternately, you can use the "Contact campaigner" option on the fundraiser page to directly get in touch with the campaigner and understand how your donation benefited them.

Once the requirement of this patient will be met, any remaining funds will ultimately go towards helping other needy patients in line with Impact Guru's mission of helping save as many lives as possible.

Whose account will the funds be transferred to?

For all medical fundraisers, the funds will be directly transferred to the hospital’s account. Only in a few cases, based on Impact Guru’s discretion, the funds might be transferred to the campaigner or the patient’s account for postoperative or at home expenses.

In cases, where the funding requirement of the patient changes due to factors such as death, change of treatment plan on advice of hospital, delay in treatment, medical complications, Impact Guru utilizes the funds to help similar patients with the mission of helping save as many lives as possible.
