Balajothi Centre for the Disabled

Story

I too want to play like my friends …

Hi! My name is Rahul and I am eleven years old.  I am diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy (a disorder which affects muscular co-ordination with the brain).  Because of this disability I am unable to run, play, dance or do any of other activities like my normal friends. However, I can do some of these things with rehabilitation and training which is provided at Balajothi.  For this, I need Rs.36, 000 per annum (Rs. 3000/- per month) towards therapy and rehabilitation expenses.  Cerebral Palsy is slowing me down but it ain't dragging  me down.

I am attending Balajothi Centre for the Disabled since last one year and have improved a lot. I need to continue with the therapy for a long time and so this appeal. I come from a poor family with an ailing mother and my father is a heart
patient. I have an older brother and sister who are studying in government schools.

Will you help me? I shall be grateful for any help you can extend to me.
