What is a Vrukshankur Balls?
Vrukshankur balls are spheres of red/black clay, soil or compost and native plant seeds.
Need to just thrown out those clay balls on road side blank areas. With rainfall the clay coating melts and the seeds germinate where the ball has landed.
With this ancient way of growing plants we're helping reduce the costs of planting.
Process of Vrukshankur Balls Campaign?
1) We give making of clay balls work to particular area's poor villagers, farmers, women's organization, old age homes, etc.
2) Those peoples need to make spheres shape clay balls inside soil or compost and native plant seeds. After drying they'll also pack those balls in packaging paper's.
3) For this work we give those people money for their daily work.
Cost of making Vrukshankur balls:
Making of one Vrukshankur ball it needs around Rs. 2/- including row material, packaging material, transportation cost for distributing work as per area, travelling cost for throwing/planting Vrukshankur balls across the roadside blank areas.
Making cost for 1 crore Vrukshankur balls is around Rs. 2 crore as per Rs. 2/- per ball.
In this Monsoon our target is to throwing/planting 1 crore Vrukshankur balls on roadside areas in Maharashtra state.
The Next Phase:
We'll also taking care of those grown plants in Summer with another plan.
