We are raising funds for Saahas, waste management NGO which is working towards waste segregation and management.

Saahas NGO is presently working on waste management projects in 11 villages of Ballari district, sponsored by JSW Foundation,  in ward 46 of Hubballi city, sponsored by Deshpande Foundation, E-waste collection campaign with ENSYDE and three community waste collection centres called Kasa Rasa in Bengaluru city, based on CSR fundings.

We are proposing a community waste collection centre at Block:6, Kottigepalya palya ward 73, of Bengaluru city, for nearly 2000 households. Segregation of waste at source, leading to nearly 90% resource recovery (by reusing and recycling) is the objective of the project.

Nearly 60% of the waste is expected to be wet waste, which can be used to generate bio gas and compost.

Bio gas plant is to be set up to convert food waste to bio gas, as a part of the project, and we require Rs. 4,50,000 for the same. Kindly support our cause by donating and sharing our fundraiser.

The funds will be utilised for the construction of a Bio gas plant in Kottigepalya, Bengaluru, which will prevent nearly 500 kgs of wet waste from going into dump yards daily, and will be used to generate Bio-gas, and the residues from the unit will be either composted or disposed off safely, accordingly.

We are grateful for your contribution towards a clean and green Bengaluru and India!
