Our school is located in the village Jambhul situated on the bank of Ulhas River in Kalyan taluka. The nature has bestowed us natural beauty but the education facilities were not accessible to us in the past. The primary education was only upto std 7th and the students had to go on foot to Ambarnath or Badlapur for further education. In such worst conditions my mother late Sulochana Suryajirav Pisal- the well known social worker in Kalyan taluka established Jaidevi Bhavani Mahila Mandal in 1967. She started the school ‘Shree Saikripa Vidyalay’ in the village for secondary students in the year 1981 and within two years the school got the approval of the state government of Maharashtra in1983. Due to the talent of students and continuous hard work of the management, the school was sanctioned for the 100 % government grant from June 1991. But from 2004, the education board of Maharashtra has ceased the grant except the payments of teachers all over Maharashtra. The management has continuously run the school with its own expenses. The school does not have its own building. Even today the school is run in the old abandoned building of government. The school has three classrooms of std 8th, 9th and 10th having only one division of each standard. But now according to the new policy of the education board of the state the building is not sufficient for the strength of the school and the classrooms are short as every year the strength is growing in numbers. The school does not have ground and compound. It does not have well equipped laboratory, library and computer lab. It lacks physical and materialistic facilities of the school.
Considering all these problems of the school, the management has decided to reconstruct its own building of the school on new location. The family members of the management Mr. Mahesh Suryajirav Pisal, Late Mohan Suryajirav Pisal, Mr. Satyvijay Suryajirav Pisal, Mr. Raghunath Suryajirav Pisal and Mr. Amarsigh Suryajirav Pisal have donated their own plot of land to the management for new construction of the school. It is decided that the construction of the school building is to be started before May 2014 by collecting the donation from the public so that it will be beneficial to the students of Jambhul and Vasat and they will have the modern and advanced education easily accessible to them in their own location. Keeping all these views in mind, we request you to donate generously in form of money or things for the noble purpose.
