A ventilator breathes for him now because his own body is too exhausted to try.
15-year-old Minarul is in the PICU. He is breathing only because a machine wills it so. Twice in one month, surgeons have opened his skull. Twice, his family has waited outside those doors, holding each other and holding their breath.
Just 3 months ago, Minarul was a 9th-grade student in West Bengal, a boy with homework, dreams, and a whole life stretching ahead of him. Then came the headaches that wouldn't leave. The vomiting that kept returning. And then, came the diagnosis of a brain tumour.
His father, a plumber, wakes up every morning and picks up his tools, not knowing if the ₹500 he earns that day will be enough to keep his son alive. Some days, there is work. Some days, there isn't.
Minarul’s mother has no income of her own. His older sister is already married and building a life of her own. His younger brother, only 12, is too young to understand why bhaiya isn't coming home. The weight of all of this rests on parents who were never prepared to carry it.
Minarul has already survived multiple brain surgeries on February 17th and February 25th, 2026. He has fought through more pain in these past weeks than most people face in a lifetime. But the fight is not over. He still needs urgent hospital care at Manipal Hospital, still needs the ventilator, still needs medicines, monitoring, and the kind of intensive support that costs more than his family can ever imagine earning.
Minarul cannot ask for help himself right now, the ventilator speaks for him. But his family is requesting you on his behalf.

For all medical fundraisers, the funds will be directly transferred to the hospital’s account. Only in a few cases, based on Impact Guru’s discretion, the funds might be transferred to the campaigner or the patient’s account for postoperative or at home expenses.
In cases, where the funding requirement of the patient changes due to factors such as death, change of treatment plan on advice of hospital, delay in treatment, medical complications, Impact Guru utilizes the funds to help similar patients with the mission of helping save as many lives as possible.

We communicate with the patient / campaigner / hospital(s) and/or medical institutions and may verify & collect all documents related to the patient, including but not limited to itemized bills, medical certificate / estimate, admission report, discharge summary, medical records, and expense documents.
We reserve the right to conduct physical visits and/or photo/ video verification as deemed necessary. Such verification measures may apply not only to patients but also to vendors, medical institutions, and other relevant parties, as applicable.
