My name is L Sai Jyotsna and I am raising funds for my father LRKS Sreenivasarao who has been hospitalised for 30 days, in MICU, for treatment of MeningoEncephalitis [inflammation of brain and its surrounding protective membrane, due to bacterial infection in the brain] and Cardiogenic shock due to Cardiomyopathy. The cost of his treatment is Rs.1,00,000(~$1,400) per day. In the last 30 days we have exhausted all our funds and resources and are now reaching out to all who can support us to give him the chance to fight this infection. The doctors say it can take another 2 months or so and it depends upon him to fight this infection along with the life support [ventilator, dialysis, cardio, BP regulation] and medication that he is on.

Given the unprecedented time we are in, we are unable to either find a hospital that has all facilities for providing life support at affordable pricing nor is he in a position to be shifted. Both of us are fighting our battles each day, him fighting the infection and us trying to make arrangements for funds so that he has a fighting chance. And now we are stretched thin.
