A Desperate Fight for Survival
My name is Vishakha Biyal, and I am reaching out with a heartfelt plea to save my beloved sister, Gungun Biyal. At just 21 years old, she is fighting one of the toughest battles - Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL), an aggressive form of blood cancer that affects the lymphatic system.
Despite her young age, Gungun has shown immense resilience. As her elder sister and the only earning member of our family, I am doing everything I can to support her treatment. But we have reached a point where we can no longer manage the financial burden alone.
Symptoms That Changed Our Lives
The first signs of her illness appeared as subtle symptoms, but they quickly turned into a devastating diagnosis:
- Persistent neck and shoulder pain
- Chronic coughing
- Extreme fatigue and weakness
After multiple tests and consultations, our worst fears were confirmed - Gungun was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
She was immediately rushed to the Hemato Oncology Clinic in Ahmedabad, where she began her intensive treatment.
Gungun’s Battle and the Urgent Need for Treatment
Gungun has already undergone chemotherapy and immunotherapy, bravely enduring the painful side effects.
However, the next phase of her treatment is even more critical - she urgently needs a bone marrow transplant and CAR-T cell therapy to have a fighting chance at survival. Without this, her condition could deteriorate rapidly.
Her Treatment Plan Requires:
- 2 additional chemotherapy sessions
- 15 sessions of immunotherapy
- CAR-T cell therapy
- Urgent bone marrow transplant (donor identified within the family)
