💔 A Mother Desperate Plea to Save My Baby 💔
My name is Kabita Mallah, and I am writing this with trembling hands and a heart weighed down by fear and helplessness. My baby boy, Garvit Keot, just 9 months old, has been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1 — a cruel, rare genetic disorder that weakens the muscles needed to move, eat, and even breathe.
As a Mother , nothing in this world breaks me more than watching my little angel struggle with something as simple as lifting his hand or taking a breath. At this age, he should be learning to crawl, laugh freely, and explore the world — but instead, his days are filled with hospital visits, tubes, and endless battles with pain.
The only ray of hope for Garvit is a one-time Zolgensma gene therapy injection. But the cost of this treatment is a staggering ₹17 Crores. This number haunts me every single night. I am a father — I am supposed to protect my child, to give him everything he needs. But today, I feel powerless because no matter how hard I work, no matter how much I try, I cannot save him on my own.
We have already spent all our savings, borrowed from wherever we could, and yet we are nowhere close to what is needed. My wife and I are broken, but we cannot — we will not — give up. For Garvit, every passing day is a race against time.
🙏 This is my humble plea to you — please help us save our baby. Your donation, no matter the size, can bring us closer to giving Garvit the gift of life. Even if you cannot donate, please share this with others. Together, we can turn this impossible dream into a miracle.
No parent should have to watch their child slip away when hope still exists. Please stand with us — help me save my son.
💔 A desperate father,
Kabita Mallah
