What happened to little Dhruv?
Before Dhruv turned 2, he suffered from Hepatoblastoma. It is the most common type of liver cancer in children, which mostly affects those under the age of 3. Due to the severe condition, Dhruv suffers from a high fever. Stomach pain and weight loss. His palatable counts have dropped significantly. The little boy also fights a lung infection.
What treatment does Dhruv need to grow up healthy and happy?
Little Dhruv has already undergone 10 rounds of chemotherapy, but the Doctors at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, didn’t get the desired results. Furthermore, as part of the treatment, Dhruv will undergo several medical tests, including a PET scan. According to the doctors, after many rounds of chemotherapy, a liver transplant only seems to be the best option for Dhruv. But the transplant procedure will have to be done as soon as possible.
