Miss Abha Ekka hails from a small tribal village called Bashen, Tehsil- Bageecha, Dist-Jashpur, state- Chattisgarh. Brief Medical history:

Miss Abha Ekka’s first blood cancer treatment started from 26th Sep 2015 till 17th Feb 2016, at Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai during which she underwent with 4 chemotherapy procedures. Following this treatment, which her body responded positively, doctor’s discharged her advising regular checkups but unfortunately after a couple of months she got infected with chicken pox disease and the blood cancer got relapsed/returned. Miss Abha Ekka, once again got admitted on 29th April 2017 but this time at Tata Hospital, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai which doctor’s at Tata Memorial hospital, Parel, advised her family and is undergoing treatment till date. She once again underwent with  4 chemotherapy’s (strong doses)which she took up boldly, a strong adivasi girl that she is. But now the doctor’s have advised her family Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) for complete cure for which the hospital has quoted approximately Rs. 26 lakhs, which has to be deposited in full before transplant operation. Irrespective of all this, Miss Abha Ekka is determined to fight blood cancer till her last breathe and wishes to fulfill her dreams unless and until she gets a second chance in life for which Bone Marrow Transplant is the only hope.

Her father, Mr. Kalyan Ekka is an adivasi farmer and a small time teacher at a private school,  the only earning member of the family. They have already spent more than Rs. 10 lakhs for their dear daughter’s treatment by using various resources like personal savings, loans from friends & relatives etc. They have tried their best but finding it incapable and unaffordable to raise such a huge amount by themselves for transplant in order to save her dear daughter’s precious life.

So, we, Chotanagpur Tribal Youth Association, on behalf of Mr. Kalyan Ekka and family plead you all to please bless Miss Abha Ekka, their dear angel in every possible way you can.

We are very much thankful and grateful for your kind help and support.
