Every Breath Matters: Help 9-Year-Old Chirag Fight for His Life
My name is Chandra Bisht and Narender Singh Rana and We are raising funds for my nephew, and my son Chirag Singh Rana. Chirag is currently in a critical condition, fighting for his life in the ICU on a ventilator. He has been diagnosed with multiple life-threatening conditions, including cervical lymphadenopathy, hepatomegaly with hepatopathy, splenic abscess, acute encephalopathy, and is suspected to have meningoencephalitis.
Chirag’s life changed drastically on 7th January, when he suddenly became very ill and was immediately admitted to the hospital. Since then, every day has been a struggle—both for him and for our family. Watching a young child, so full of life and dreams, fight for every breath is the most painful experience I have ever endured.
So far, we have spent ₹27 lakhs on his treatment, including ICU care, medications, ventilator support, and specialized procedures. However, doctors have informed us that he still requires treatment costing approximately ₹25 lakhs to continue life-saving care. Without immediate intervention, Chirag’s condition could worsen, and his chances of survival could drastically decrease.
Chirag is not just my nephew; he is a bright, energetic child who loves to laugh, play, and dream about his future. It is heartbreaking to see him confined to a hospital bed, connected to machines, fighting a battle that no child should ever face. As his family, we are determined to do everything possible to save him, but we cannot manage this enormous financial burden on our own.
