My daughter Bhargavi is just three years old. At this age, children should only worry about toys, cartoons, and running around the house. But my little girl is fighting something no child should ever face, blood cancer.

About a year ago, I started noticing something strange. Bhargavi would complain about pain in her tiny legs. At first, we thought it was just a normal weakness or maybe she had hurt herself while playing. But the pain kept coming back. Some days she would cry so much that I couldn’t calm her down. A mother knows when something isn’t right with her child.
After several tests and hospital visits, the doctors gave us the news that shattered our world. Bhargavi was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a type of blood cancer. I still remember the moment the doctor said the word “cancer.” My heart stopped. I couldn’t believe that my three-year-old baby had to go through something so painful.

Since then, our lives have completely changed. Bhargavi has already undergone two chemotherapy sessions and several blood transfusions. Watching her lie on the hospital bed, surrounded by tubes and machines, breaks me every single day. She used to run around the house laughing, but now even standing up sometimes becomes difficult for her.
My husband and I had a love marriage five years ago. Bhargavi is our only child, our whole world. We waited so long for her, and she filled our lives with so much happiness. Seeing her suffer like this feels unbearable.
My husband works as a farmer and I am a housewife. Whatever little savings we had are already spent on her treatment. The doctors have told us that Bhargavi urgently needs continued chemotherapy and a Bone Marrow Transplant to survive. We are still searching for a donor.

Every day I pray that my daughter gets another chance at life. I dream of seeing her healthy again, running in the fields, laughing freely, and living the childhood she deserves.
But right now, we cannot do this alone.
As a mother, it is heartbreaking to ask strangers for help, but Bhargavi’s life depends on it. Your support can help us continue her treatment and give my little girl the chance to grow up.

You need not wait for donor or have the organ ready. We actually suggest you start a fundraiser as soon as you can so that you are ready with the acquired funds and can get the surgery done immediately when you do receive an organ.
Generally, most campaigners are reminded to leave updates on their fundraiser regarding the progress of their cause, whether it’s a nonprofit project or the health of a patient. You will get an email every time an update is posted. Alternately, you can use the "Contact campaigner" option on the fundraiser page to directly get in touch with the campaigner and understand how your donation benefited them.
Once the requirement of this patient will be met, any remaining funds will ultimately go towards helping other needy patients in line with Impact Guru's mission of helping save as many lives as possible.
For all medical fundraisers, the funds will be directly transferred to the hospital’s account. Only in a few cases, based on Impact Guru’s discretion, the funds might be transferred to the campaigner or the patient’s account for postoperative or at home expenses.
In cases, where the funding requirement of the patient changes due to factors such as death, change of treatment plan on advice of hospital, delay in treatment, medical complications, Impact Guru utilizes the funds to help similar patients with the mission of helping save as many lives as possible.
90%+ of Impact Guru’s campaigns raise funds leveraging our do-it-yourself fundraising platform.
The Accelerate initiative of Impact Guru caters primarily towards those individuals who are unable to create or manage their own fundraiser due to lack of education, access to smartphones, or social networks for fundraising support.
