For more than two decades, Shivkumari and Kamlesh waited and prayed to experience the joy of becoming parents. After 21 years of marriage, their dream finally came true through IVF treatment when their baby girl was born.

But what should have been the happiest moment of their lives quickly turned into a nightmare.
Their daughter was born extremely premature at just 26 weeks and 5 days, weighing only 840 grams. Her tiny body was not fully developed, and she needed immediate intensive medical care to survive.
Soon after birth, doctors discovered a serious complication — a hole had formed in her intestine, which required urgent surgery.
Even after the surgery, the baby’s condition remains critical.
Now just 22 days old, she weighs only 700 grams and is currently in the NICU on ventilator support, fighting every single breath.

Doctors have advised that she must remain in the NICU for the next 8–9 weeks to receive specialized care that can help her survive and grow stronger.
The baby’s father, Kamlesh Yadav, is 48 years old and works as an auto-rickshaw driver, earning around ₹15,000 per month.
Her mother, Shivkumari, is a homemaker who spends every moment beside her newborn daughter in the hospital.
The family lives in a rented home in Kandivali, Mumbai, and their limited income barely covers their daily living expenses.
To continue the baby’s treatment, they have already spent ₹1 lakh, using their personal savings and borrowing money from friends and relatives.
But the estimated cost of treatment is ₹18.5 lakhs, which is far beyond what they can afford.

After waiting 21 long years to hold their child, the parents are now watching their newborn struggle for survival in the NICU.
The cost of prolonged NICU care, ventilator support, and specialized treatment is overwhelming for this family.
Without financial support, continuing her treatment will become nearly impossible.

This fragile baby has just entered the world, and she deserves the chance to live, grow, and experience life.
Your contribution can help provide the critical NICU care she needs to survive.
Please come forward and support the Baby of Shivkumari. Your kindness can give this little fighter the chance to go home safely in her parents’ arms.
