I would like to introduce myself to you and let you have a brief background of my baby’s history to enable you to make an informed decision.
My name is Sana Warsi. I have had two ectopic pregnancies which were emotionally and physically exhausting.
Following this, six months later, I had a normal pregnancy and we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl. You will definitely appreciate what a joy and blessing this was to us, nothing short of a miracle.
Due to the current pandemic we avoided taking our baby to the hospital for check ups barring twice for her vaccinations. During the third vaccination there appeared to be a problem with our baby’s health and we were advised to carry out a liver biopsy. You can well imagine how shocked and dismayed we were when our baby was diagnosed with a rare liver disease, Billary Atresia for which the only treatment is a liver transplant. For this we need a living donor, which we have in the baby’s father, Zaid Warsi.
However the process includes donor and baby evaluation, surgery and post surgery and we will need to admit our baby into hospital for four to five weeks. As you will know all this is going to put a tremendous financial strain on us, which we would gladly bear, but for the fact that we are a simple middle class family and do not have the finances to support the whole process.
We are earnestly and hopefully looking for whatever assistance you may be able to provide us to get through this and save our baby. No amount will be too small to be of help. We would be very grateful for whatever assistance you can give us to have our baby well again. May God bless you for your concern and generosity.
