Arnav doesn't know what cancer is. He only knows that his world has gone dark.
At an age when most children are running, laughing, and discovering colours for the first time, Arnav can no longer see.
Born to a humble family in Cotton Green, Mumbai, little Arnav is His parents' first child. Their everything. But in January 2025, that joy was shattered when doctors said their baby boy had cancer in both his eyes.
The disease had already stolen his sight. His life is at risk now.
His father, who works as an office boy earning just ₹10,000 a month, stands in the hospital corridor carrying a weight of financial difficulties. His mother, a homemaker who had spent years dreaming of watching her son grow up, now spends her days watching him endure pain she cannot take away.
Arnav has already been through 4 rounds of chemotherapy, powerful medicines pumped into his tiny body to fight the cancer spreading through his eyes and into his brain. 5 times, he has needed emergency blood and platelet transfusions just to keep going. Each session has pushed him to his limit. Each time, he has somehow held on.
He is currently resting at home, not because he is better, but because the hardest part is still ahead.
Doctors at Surya Hospital have recommended an Autologous Bone Marrow Transplant. It is his best, and perhaps only, real chance at survival. Without it, the cancer might win.
The cost of this transplant is far beyond anything his family can imagine. A father who earns ₹10,000 a month cannot fund a procedure that costs lakhs. But he shows up every single day for his son, for his wife, for the dream that Arnav gets to grow up.

In cases, where the funding requirement of the patient changes due to factors such as death, change of treatment plan on advice of hospital, delay in treatment, medical complications, Impact Guru utilizes the funds to help similar patients with the mission of helping save as many lives as possible.

We reserve the right to conduct physical visits and/or photo/ video verification as deemed necessary. Such verification measures may apply not only to patients but also to vendors, medical institutions, and other relevant parties, as applicable.
