Ardor Football Academy (AFA), founded in 2012, is engaged in fostering the development of high performance football in the community. AFA is actively involved in promoting grassroot football through free training program (equipment, kits & modules) for underprivileged and tribal children in Odisha – with a motto “FOOTBALL FOR ALL”.

Currently, there are 3 ongoing programs in Bhubaneswar, Odisha including periodic football training camps at Tribal schools – A) Kalinga stadium , B) Capital Girls High School Unit-2, C) Capital Boys High School Unit-3, training over 150 underprivileged and tribal children. These programs allow them to demonstrate their rare talent to shine in the national fora – AFA also provides a platform through various trials/events to help succeed and play for professional clubs in India.

Under FOOTBALL FOR ALL campaign, over 150 students (both boys and girls) in the age group of 6-17 years are selected on merit across Odisha to undergo the training. These students are enrolled to participate in various football events across the country like 2017 Bhubaneshwar Football League, a Senior Division League, organized by FAO (Football Association of Odisha) and Soccer Festival organized by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Delhi, to name a few.

1. Chandan Nayak, 11 years old slum student from Bhubaneswar, was selected to train with Bayern Munich after coming through trials designed for players up to five years older than him. Hailing from Sabar Sahi slum of the city, he was one of the 5 children who were selected (across India trails) for an all-expenses-paid junior football camp to Munich, Germany

ESPN: Bayern Munich invite Indian youngster Chandan Nayak, 11, to join academy

2. Recently 3 students (Sunil Soren, Ranjan Soren, Chandan Nayak) have been selected to play for Bhaichung Bhutia Football School (BBFS) in the prestigious U-14 I league organized by AIFF (All India Football Federation)

I am writing for your contribution to support FOOTBALL FOR ALL campaign – to help AFA in the development and promotion of football in India, and to prevent the youth from nefarious activities and to eradicate social ills like child labour, drug abuse, child abuse etc.

During this Diwali, let's light up a football dream for the children by contributing for football training, tournament fees, travel cost to appear for trials and basic football equipment like football, football shoes, socks, shin pad, jersey and shorts.
