My daughter Aditi... I was so happy when she was born. We have three children, and though our income was small, our home was always full of laughter and color.

I dreamed my three children would grow up together, that no matter how hard we worked, we would give them a good education. Aditi is in the 8th standard now. She is so talented; she spends all her time with her sketchbooks, filling them with beautiful drawings.
She was a normal, healthy girl... until October 2025.
It started with a sudden, high fever. When her blood counts came back dangerously low, we rushed her to the clinic. They said she had 'AML'—Acute Myeloid Leukemia. We... we didn't even know what that meant. We were so scared.

That first time, we used every bit of savings we had. We took loans from everyone we could. We did everything to start her treatment, and she has already endured 3 grueling rounds of chemotherapy.
Watching her go through those sessions, along with several blood and platelet transfusions, has been a nightmare. But despite everything, we are now buried in debt.
A few weeks ago, the doctors gave us the news. Chemotherapy alone will not save her. Aditi needs a 'Bone Marrow Transplant' (BMT).

Our eldest daughter, who is just 16 and in the 10th standard, is the match. She is ready to be the donor for her little sister. But we have no money left to pay for the procedure.
I don't know what to do. My husband is a delivery boy for Bigbasket. He weaves through traffic all day on his bike, delivering groceries to other families. He earns just ₹20,000 a month.
With that small amount, he has to support five of us—our 18-year-old son in 12th grade, our 16-year-old daughter in 10th grade, and now Aditi's mounting hospital bills.
We have never seen such bad days. Sometimes we don't even have enough for a proper meal; we are at the mercy of our circumstances. Seeing my baby... on a hospital bed... surrounded by machines and tubes... I can't bear it.

I pray to God, 'Please, don't take her away.' I am living with a stone on my heart.
The doctors are trying, but they say they need the funds to continue with the transplant. It costs lakhs of rupees—money we have never even seen in our lives.
We have nothing. We have no one.
I beg all of you... please pray for my child. And if you can, please help us. Don't let my daughter's story end because her father is a delivery boy. Please save my child.
(PS: If you can’t donate for any reason, please share this story with friends and family. Every bit helps.)

You need not wait for donor or have the organ ready. We actually suggest you start a fundraiser as soon as you can so that you are ready with the acquired funds and can get the surgery done immediately when you do receive an organ.
Generally, most campaigners are reminded to leave updates on their fundraiser regarding the progress of their cause, whether it’s a nonprofit project or the health of a patient. You will get an email every time an update is posted. Alternately, you can use the "Contact campaigner" option on the fundraiser page to directly get in touch with the campaigner and understand how your donation benefited them.
Once the requirement of this patient will be met, any remaining funds will ultimately go towards helping other needy patients in line with Impact Guru's mission of helping save as many lives as possible.
For all medical fundraisers, the funds will be directly transferred to the hospital’s account. Only in a few cases, based on Impact Guru’s discretion, the funds might be transferred to the campaigner or the patient’s account for postoperative or at home expenses.
In cases, where the funding requirement of the patient changes due to factors such as death, change of treatment plan on advice of hospital, delay in treatment, medical complications, Impact Guru utilizes the funds to help similar patients with the mission of helping save as many lives as possible.
90%+ of Impact Guru’s campaigns raise funds leveraging our do-it-yourself fundraising platform.
The Accelerate initiative of Impact Guru caters primarily towards those individuals who are unable to create or manage their own fundraiser due to lack of education, access to smartphones, or social networks for fundraising support. Impact Guru provides fundraising support in such cases by maximizing outreach, leveraging all fundraising channels. In order to provide crucial life saving support to such patients, Impact Guru charges marketing cost paid to such third parties and its regular platform and payment gateway fees.
