‘If you wish to move mountains tomorrow, you must start by lifting stones today’
Jeevan Dhara established its football training camps in the year 2011. The idea behind the football camp is to prevent young adolescents from the slums falling prey to the vice of tobacco, glue sniffing etc. and learn to appreciate and take care of their body. Jeevan Dhara provides them with all the necessary equipment, football kit , a coach. The only catch being they should attend school regularly, stay away from cigarettes, ghutka, or any form of chemical dependency.
Jeevan Dhara has helped install discipline in the life of these youth by providing them the regular training nutritional advice. Football training at Jeevan Dhara is a way to make the students realise the importance of being fit and the cons of using substance abuse.
Jeevan Dhara boys for the past 6 years have been making us proud by adhering to the rules and regulation of our organisation and by participating in tournaments regularly and winning a lot of trophies. The football team has been in operation under the guidance of Mr. Okeke Kingsley Obiwanne.
