Bhavana and Sameeksha are in a state of shock and helplessness due to the sudden discovery of acute health condition of their only remaining parent. A brain tumor can claim their mother, Swetha, if they cannot get her the needed treatment urgently. We request your generosity in helping two young girls to save their mother.
Around 20 days ago, Swetha was feeling numbness in the right side of her body. She couldn’t feel anything - not even her eyes or fingertips. Her two young girls who are not yet out of college got worried about her and took her to a doctor in a local area. The doctor asked them to get some scans and tests done immediately. They shelled out their little savings and got the scans done. They still remember the tragic diagnosis which came out a week ago and indicated that their mother had a cancerous tumor in her brain.
Swetha needed surgery and the family immediately made their way to Hyderabad. After going to a couple of hospitals Swetha was finally hospitalized at KIMS Hospital and was wheeled in for surgery on the morning of 28th April 2021.
Swetha is unable to walk and manages to mumble a few words. Her elder daughter Bhavana is in the final year of electronic engineering whereas her younger one is in the first year of college and is studying computer engineering. They lost their father at a very young age and only have their mother left. Don’t let them lose her too.
With spending their savings and taking some help from relatives, they have managed to spend more than Rs 4 lakh for their mother’s treatment. According to the estimate given by the doctor, Swetha will need chemotherapy as well as radiotherapy to get rid of the tumor completely and this will cost Rs 10 lakh.
The young women have taken a lot of responsibilities on their shoulders however are unable to pay for the treatment of their mother. Even their relatives have helped them to the best of their capacity. Every donation will give a second chance at life to Swetha and help her go back to her daughters. Please share Swetha’s story with your friends and family so that the funds needed for Swetha’s treatment can be raised. Each small help will help the two young girls, who lost their father, to save their mother.
