You cannot predict the future. There are some things that you just can’t plan in advance. In the same way people cannot predict their medical problems. For instance, when a person goes through a medical crisis, they run out of savings and usually are left with very little options. Through the advent of crowdfunding platforms in India, it is now possible to fund your medical expenses and personal or social causes. Here is how it works.

Aside from paying the bills, campaigners running fundraisers are determined to save the lives of their loved ones and therefore, it is very important for their fundraiser to be successful. The effort of donors should also be commended as they are the ones who make it possible to achieve the target amount. There are certain tips that you should follow if you want your campaign to be successful. They are mentioned at the end of this article.

Before that let us look at campaigns that were successful at raising funds in the last week:

Here are some tips that will help you in achieve your fundraising target successfully:

  1. Fundraiser Story:

People should know what they are donating to, you should be very transparent about why you want to raise the money. Be very specific and elaborate your issue in your story

  1. Use of images/videos:

Images help the donor relate to the cause, pictures speak louder than words, try adding them in your fundraiser. For example, for a medical cause, you could use a before and after image of the patient.

2. A creative title:

A creative title will generate more clicks which will result in more donations to your campaign. Keep it short and sweet.

3. Create a group to promote your cause

You should create a group that consists of family and friends who will regularly share and talk about your fundraiser within their network. Make sure your fundraiser is shared far and wide by these supporters.
